RexMont Data Desk
Puget Sound housing data, released on a calendar, with the file behind every number.
Named report series on fixed dates, each release a dated page with a CSV, a chart and the method, built from the NWMLS records RexMont holds through its MLS Grid feed for 52 Puget Sound markets. Reporters, analysts and homeowners can cite a figure today and find it unchanged next year.

Methodology
NWMLS data via RexMont's MLS Grid feed
Closed sales, medians, days on market, sale-to-list and inventory come from the NWMLS records RexMont receives through MLS Grid (IDX-visible residential listings), computed on the 3rd of each month after closings post. Closed figures are by close date in the month; active, pending and months of supply are counts on the day the release is computed. History is complete from March 2025, so year-over-year comparisons are published from the March 2026 data month onward and withheld otherwise.
RentCast, for asking prices and rents
The city report pages carry the asking-price and rent view (median list price, price per square foot, days on market by property type) from RentCast, refreshed monthly and coarse-rounded. Where a city page and a Data Desk release differ, the release carries the closed NWMLS figure and the city page the asking figure; both state their month.
Freddie Mac PMMS via FRED
Mortgage rates are the Freddie Mac Primary Mortgage Market Survey, read from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (FRED) each day and dated by the survey week. Payments are principal and interest on 80% of the stated median over 360 months; the formula is printed on every Rate Watch page.
Aggregates, rounding and corrections
- Aggregates only. No listing-level data is published in a release or a CSV: counts, medians, shares and ratios per city, county or property type.
- A geography is ranked in the findings and charted only with 25 or more closings in the month; it is still listed in the table and the CSV.
- Medians and price per square foot to the dollar; shares, ratios and changes to one decimal; months of supply to one decimal; payments and income to the dollar. A change under 3% is described as flat, never as a trend.
- Every release is a dated page that does not change after publication. A confirmed error is corrected on the page with a dated note (corrections policy); the citation licence covers reuse.
- Fair housing: releases describe housing stock, prices, pace and geography. They describe homes and markets, never residents or any group of people.
